We are a research group from the University of Minho and we focus on the development of robotic and computational technologies for the understanding of biological systems such as human locomotion and the creation of adaptive solutions to the health sciences. We have projects for orthoses, prosthetics, works on Parkinson’s diseases, rehabilitation of people with ataxia through an intelligent walker and computer-assisted surgery. Many people have already been involved in these projects since we are a multidisciplinary group composed of masters, doctoral students and researchers from different areas: computer engineering, computer sciences, electronic engineering, and biomedical engineering.
